Bjorn Johannesson, Managing Director - bj(at)arev.is 
Bjorn Johannesson started working for Arev in 2006. Bjorn has a Masters degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University in Massachusetts USA and received his baccalaureate in economics and management at Luther College in Iowa, USA. Bjorn qualified in securities trading in 2007.

Bjorn worked for the Icelandic State Financial Supervisory Authority (FME) from 2002 to 2005, and for PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York from 1999 to 2002. Before that time he worked in health economics at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and in the Congressional Budget Office in Washington DC. In recent years he has been a part-time teacher in the business school of Reykjavík University.

Jon Scheving Thorsteinsson, Specialist - jst(at)arev.is
Jon has a Masters degree in Operations Research from Stanford University.

He worked as Production Director and later Sales and Marketing Director with Sol until 1996. He was then appointed to a position with Hagkaup, and later Baugur, where he directed the company’s overseas investments. In 2004 he established Arev UK Ltd in Britain, and later its sister company in Iceland, Arev Securities.

Sigurdur Berntsson, Specialist - sb(at)arev.is
Sigurdur began working for Arev in 2008. Sigurdur graduated in Business Administration from University of Iceland.

Sigurdur worked as an office manager and later as an operations manager at Hradfrystistod Thorshafnar, then as financial manager at Computer 2000 and as a financial manager at Rumfatalagerinn. Lately he has been working as a financial manager for Lagerinn and been in charge of the operations and the financing of the company.

Austris is Arev’s Associate. He graduated with a masters degree from the University of Latvia in 2001 and he finished his bachelor degree from the same university.

He worked at Jysk Group Baltic & Balkan region as a CFO, administrative director and a board member. He also worked as a CFO and a board member for The Pier Group in Baltic. In 2001 – 2004 he worked for McCann-Erickson Riga Group as a CFO and before that he held a position as a project manager for Norway-Latvia business development fund. In 1997-1999 Austris worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an accountant and consultant.

Jon Gunnar Bergs
Jon Gunnar Bergs passed the final examinations in Mechanical Engineering and Computing at the University of Iceland and has an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University USA. Jon Gunnar has worked as an independent management consultant since 2000, and was previously Managing Director of the development division of deCode where he was responsible for sales and marketing along with strategic planning and development. Before joining deCode he worked for McKinsey & Co in the USA as advisor to many large and medium-sized American companies.
